On Oct. 26, 2010, Project Palestine hosted Mainstreaming Palestine: An Evening of music, words and a motion picture. The format was not linear as moderator Victor O’Halloran asked each artist to discuss and showcase her work. Detroit-based hip hop artist Invincible performed “People Not Places” and other songs, Oklahoma-born writer Pamela Olson read exerpts of her book-in-progress, “Fast Times in Palestine” and Palestinian filmmaker Fida Qishta showed a clip of her nearly-complete film, “Where Should the Birds Fly?”
